mission hill winery

“Making great wines and providing a special place where people can enjoy them has been my dream and my life's work. Now, it's a reality, one that my family and I want to share with everyone who visits us high atop Mission Hill.”

Anthony von Mandl
Proprietor

Mission Hill does offer guided tours (Starting at $20 per person - reservations recommended) but you can also just wander the grounds and enjoy the art.

gellatly nut farm

Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park is 4 hectares of a working heritage farm. The park is a significant and unique site because of the heritage components as well as the recreational, archaeological, and educational values.

You may notice that metal tags have been placed on all of the nut trees and shrubs in the park. These tags are unique to each tree and let us identify each of the near 800 nut trees and shrubs in the park. The project of cataloging of all the nut trees in Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park will allow Regional Parks' planners to make a long-term plan to ensure the sustainability and health of the nut orchard for decades to come.

Off the Grid Winery

Nestled between the two houses of the Paynter brothers, Off the Grid Organic Winery is the natural evolution of this family's 100 years and five generations of farming in Westbank.  With sustainability at the forefront of their practice, the family is excited to welcome you to their property.

When you come to visit OTG, you'll notice the experience is like no other. You'll be greeted by our friendly winery goats, enjoy unobstructed views of Okanagan Lake, experience your wine tasting in a fully sustainable, off the grid, building.

Ciao Bella Winery

For over 20 years Roberto Fiume has been growing the finest grapes and this is reflected in the awards won by our boutique winery.

Most recently our 2016 Pinot Nero won Gold at two National competitions, the 2018 Wine Align and also 2018 The All Canadian Wine Championships and our 2016 Dolce Vino Dessert wine won Gold at the 2018 BC Best of Varietals.  Some of our past awards include a silver medal for our 2014 Pinot Rosé and Best Pinot Noir in BC at the Best of Varietal Awards for our 2014 Pinot Nero!

Indigenous World Winery

Indigenous World merges the modern culture with Indigenous history. The Indigenous first peoples of the Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys located in British Columbia Canada are the Okanagan Syilx people. They have lived on and protected these lands for 1000’s of years. Robert Louie and his wife Bernice are descendants of the Syilx people and are connected to the land and its rich history.

Suggestions for Dinner

okanagan 19 bar and grill - west kelowna

Located at Two Eagles Golf Course - 19 Okanagan is a casual fine dining experience featuring our Okanagan Valley inspired menus and wine choices. Our kitchen team creates dishes with high quality ingredients, innovation and more flavours than you might expect from a restaurant at a golf course. Come and savour the flavours at 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar any day of the year, truly a West Kelowna gem.

bamboo chopstick - west kelowna

This is your support driver Bill’s favourite Asian restaurant in West Kelowna. This is from their Facebook Page: Established in 2011. We are a family run business serving authentic homemade Vietnamese cuisine using all of our mums recipes she learned as a young girl.

antico pizza napoletana - downtown kelowna

You mentioned you love pizza. So do we! And this place gets our vote for the best pizza in the Okanagan. This is real napoletana wood-fired pizza, right on Bernard Avenue in downtown Kelowna. Tony and Miranda do an excellent job. Before or after your pizza, explore the downtown area. Go for a walk in City Park. Grab a gelato or a coffee at an outdoor café.
