Sample Itinerary*

We have provided this itinerary as a sample of what your Bespoke Vacation could include. Use this as a starting point, but feel free to let your imagination soar. The sky is the limit here in the Okanagan!

  • Day One

Day One - After your check in at the Therapy Guesthouse, join us for a welcome reception on the deck where you’ll be introduced to the Giro Team and your Guesthouse hosts. After the reception, we’ll take a short walk through the vineyards to Serendipity Bistro for dinner, right next to Therapy. After dinner, stroll back to the guesthouse and enjoy the Okanagan sunset before bed. Tomorrow, great cycling awaits!

Dinner - Serendipity Bistro is the newest arrival on the Naramata culinary scene, with a fabulous debut in 2018. The Bistro is right next door to Therapy Vineyards.

  • Day Two

Day Two - This morning, while you enjoy your breakfast at the Guesthouse, we'll load up your bikes and prepare for today's ride. We’ll meet you at Therapy and take a short shuttle drive north to Glenfir, where we'll access the Kettle Valley Rail Trail. We'll ride down through old growth Ponderosa Pines and enjoy the spectacular views while we share some stories about the making of this railway over 100 years ago. Soon, we'll be back in the rolling vineyards of Naramata where we'll stop for an al fresco lunch and wine and cheese tasting at Poplar Grove Cheese. Then, it's a short ride to Penticton for a private tour and tasting at La Frenz Winery. Tonight, we'll take you to the quaint village of Naramata where we'll stroll along Robinson Avenue and the Lakefront while sharing stories about the Village and how it started. After, enjoy dinner at 1908 Restaurant in the Naramata Heritage Inn.

Lunch - A gourmet al fresco lunch will be served by the Giro Team at Poplar Grove Cheese.

Dinner - Under the watchful eye of executive chef Bradley Clease, 1908 Restaurant celebrates the agricultural pedigree of the Naramata Bench. He invites you to "join us at 1908 to create some more great memories around the dining table"

Spare Time Option - Join us for an early morning yoga class overlooking Lake Okanagan before breakfast. It’s a wonderful way to stretch out those muscles to prepare for a day of cycling.

  • Day Three

Day Three After breakfast, it's a short shuttle ride to Penticton, where we'll start todays ride at the north end of Skaha Lake. We'll take the Kettle Valley Rail Trail down the west side of the Lake to Kaleden, where we'll have our first climb up to Linden Gardens for our morning coffee stop. Then, we continue to Okanagan Falls, where we have our second climb, up to the spectacularly scenic setting of Liquidity and Blue Mountain Wines. There, we'll wrap up with a private tour and tasting, followed by an al fresco gourmet lunch served by the Giro team. The Giro shuttle will take you back to the Guesthouse where you'll have a chance to relax before dinner. Tonight's dining destination is the Vanilla Pod, overlooking downtown Penticton.

Lunch - An al-fresco lunch will be served by the Giro Team at Blue Mountain Winery.

Dinner - At the Vanilla Pod, tapas style dishes of international and Mediterranean flavours combined with fresh Okanagan ingredients make for a delightful exploration of contemporary cuisine. Visual presentation is as important as innovation in flavour, with judicious use of spices and other seasonings being central to the dishes created by Executive Chef Bruno Terroso.

Spare Time Option - Book your own relaxation massage with Alanna, a registered massage therapist. The massage can be done right in your room at Therapy

  • Day Four

Day Four It’s our last day of cycling and we’ve put together a spectacular itinerary for you. After breakfast at the guesthouse, we’ll get on the bikes and ride right from your front door. We’ll do a little foraging with some of our farming friends in the area and learn more about the history of agriculture in the region. Along the way, choose carefully, because you’ll actually be sourcing the ingredients for tonight’s dinner! We’ll visit Lake Breeze's Patio for lunch and wrap up our tour back at the Guesthouse. After you have a chance to freshen up, we'll head back to Serendipity for a culinary workshop using the ingredients we sourced on today's ride. The chef will guide you through a culinary workshop where you’ll create a dish that you’ll enjoy at tonight’s wind up event, a hosted Chef’s Harvest Table dinner overlooking the lake. We’ll share a final evening of music and memories under the stars of an Okanagan sky. Buona Sera – our Giro amici!

Lunch - The Patio at Lake Breeze - Chef Mark Ashton and his team are committed to providing you with a memorable winery dining experience. Our menu features naturally and ethically raised meats from small BC farms, and local cheeses. We are fortunate to have access to the abundant organic produce that grows in our garden & locally, and we showcase it with seasonally inspired menu items.

Dinner - A hosted multi course Harvest Table dinner in the vineyards at Serendipity Estate Winery

  • Day Five

Day Five This morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Guesthouse before your travels home. If you’re not quite ready to leave the Okanagan, ask us about other ideas to extend your stay!

* Our sample itineraries tend to be packed with options. As we mentioned, this is just a guide and - as such - we thought it best to give you as many options as possible.

Tucked into the folds of one of the most scenic regions in Canada (or the world) lies a rich blanket of agricultural bounty. And we take full advantage of that to introduce you to culinary experiences that will amaze. Trails criss-cross orchards and vineyards, connecting dozens of wineries and agricultural artisans. Stories abound, friendships are quickly struck and the memories of cycling here will stay with you for a lifetime.
